Willie Obiano, former governor of Anambra State has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, Obiano was released on Wednesday after meeting all bail conditions including the temporary forfeiture of his passport.
Obiano who was arrested last week at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, hours after handing over to Governor Charles Soludo is being accused of allegedly misappropriating N5billion Sure-P and N37 billion Security Vote funds, which were withdrawn in cash.
