In a New Year message, TUC President Mr Festus Osifo emphasizes the need for the Federal Government to honor agreements with organized labor in 2023, specifically mentioning the National Minimum Wage.

Osifo states that the government has repeatedly violated agreements, and in 2024, the TUC demands the implementation of all labor agreements, including the timely payment of the N35,000 monthly wage award.

The TUC calls for negotiations on a new National Minimum Wage, addressing inflation concerns, prudent economic practices, and ensuring the security of Nigerians.
