Governor Abiodun, in his goodwill message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Lekan Adeniran, urged the Muslim Ummah to strive to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith, obedience and dedication.
He stressed the need to submit to the Almighty God and prioritising spiritual well-being over worldly desires, while highlighting the significance of selflessness, compassion and the willingness to make sacrifices for the sake of faith and the betterment of humanity.
Governor Abiodun noted that Sallah presents an opportunity for Muslims to gather with their families, strengthen their bonds, and share in the blessings of the festive period.
He prayed to God accept the prayers, acts of worship and sacrifices of the people during this blessed time.
