
President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to embrace a new value system for the country to make progress.
The President made this call in Lagos State a delegation from the National Assembly paid him a sallah homage after the Eid prayers.
The delegation, led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, included the Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau; and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu; among others.
President Tinubu enjoined Nigerians to have a change of mindset about Nigeria to overcome the current challenges, commending the leadership of the National Assembly for the support extended to his administration, which had led to some of the important developments recorded by his administration.
He acknowledged the challenges and the task ahead, assuring Nigerians of his unwavering determination to turn things around.
In his remarks, Akpabio said he came with the leadership of the National Assembly to pay homage, felicitate with the President on Eid-El Kabir, and to thank him for the purposeful leadership in the first year of his administration.
