After weeks of intense speculation, Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will on Thursday formally declare his intention to contest for President in 2023 under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Nigeria News House gathered that an associate of the vice-president and a senior official in the Vice President’s office confirmed the development.
Osinbajo joins the likes of Asiwaju Tinubu, Yahaya Bello, Rochas Okorocha, Dave Umahi and Orji Uzor Kalu who have so far indicated interest in running for president under the APC.
