Rescue operations are continuing at the site of a 4 storey building located at the Garki area council of the Federal Capital Territory, in the Nations capital which collapsed on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Details on the occurrence still remain sketchy as efforts by the Nigeria News House crew to speak earlier today, Wednesday 3rd of June with officials of the Federal Emergency Management agency FEMA proved abortive.
Similarly, neighbours and passers-by claimed not to be aware of any information leading to the collapse, however, a lady who preferred anonymity said the incident occurred during the evening hours when most businesses in the area had closed.
In the meantime, NNH News crew captured current efforts by workers to clear the debris on the site as it is unclear if persons are still trapped under the rubble.
