Despite significant economic hurdles, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, also Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), lauds the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its performance. Speaking at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, Uzodimma emphasized the party’s achievements, attributing current challenges to global economic issues. He expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s policies to steer the country towards better economic health.
After meeting with the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Uzodimma highlighted the governors’ loyalty and solidarity with the party’s leadership, also offering condolences to Ganduje on his recent bereavement.
Uzodimma voiced optimism about the APC’s prospects in the upcoming Edo governorship election, citing the party’s control of 20 states and a majority in the Federal Executive Council as key advantages. Ganduje echoed these sentiments, underscoring the mutual support between the party’s leadership and its governors.
