Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appointed ex-chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya popularly called MC Oluomo, as the head of its Parks Management Committee.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso made this known in a statement on Thursday morning.
The statement said former Assistant Inspector General of Police Hakeem Odumosu will serve as Liaison Officer between the government and the committee while ex-Permanent Secretary, Dr. Taiwo Salaam is to act as the secretary of the committee.
The statement disclosed that Sanwo-Olu would inaugurate all members of the committee at the Ministry of Transportation, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.
Oluomo’s appointment is coming less than 24 hours after his sack as Lagos State chairman of NURTW by the national body.
