The Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have reached an agreement to resume issuing visas to Nigerian passport holders traveling to the UAE. Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced the agreement at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, stating that it took immediate effect on July 15.
Idris confirmed that following discussions between Nigeria and the UAE, the visa issuance for Nigerians has been reinstated. “Effective from today, Nigerian passport holders are able to obtain visas to travel to the United Arab Emirates,” he said.
