The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has finalized plans to implement the sale of crude oil and refined products in Naira to Dangote’s Refinery. This initiative, done in collaboration with other government agencies, aims to boost local transactions in the oil sector.
Speaking at the NPA’s Lagos headquarters, Managing Director Dr. Abdulkadir Dantsoho confirmed that the agency has started executing the Federal Government’s directive to oversee service coordination between regulatory bodies, security agencies, and stakeholders for the smooth rollout of the policy.
Dantsoho also announced plans to establish a One-Stop Shop to streamline services and ensure efficient coordination among all involved parties. “We are committed to ensuring the availability of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and other petroleum products across the country,” he stated.
The NPA is working closely with other agencies to guarantee that this national initiative is successfully implemented, ensuring the steady supply of petroleum products nationwide.
