Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a presidential candidate in 2023, has paid for Governor Babajide Sanwo-re-election Olu’s bid’s N50m Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.
Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-chief Olu’s press secretary, revealed this on his verified Twitter handle on Friday while attributing it to his principal.
“Breaking: Asiwaju Tinubu paid for my second term nomination and expression of interest forms to run for second term, says Sanwo-Olu,” Akosile wrote.
Remember that the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the APC’s highest decision-making body in Lagos State, gave Sanwo-Olu a clean bill of health to run for governor for the second time.
