Under the aegis of Operation Hadin Kai, Nigerian Army troops blasted a convoy of Abubakar Sarki, a Boko Haram commander, in Sambisa forest, killing scores of militants who were with him.
According to sources, the offensive was coordinated by Maj Gen Waidi Shaibu, General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Nigerian Army, and Commander Sector 1 North East Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Yuwe, Konduga Local Government Area, Borno State.
