On Saturday, a two-story building on Lagos Island collapsed, killing one person and rescuing another.
The incident occurred during a rainstorm.
Before the afternoon collapse, the building under construction was located on Freeman Road on Lagos Island.
Ibrahim Farinloye, the Lagos State Territorial District Coordinator for the National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, confirmed the incident around 4.50pm and said responders were on their way.
