The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released new timetable for the 2023 general elections following the delayed assent to the electoral act amendment bill by President Muhammadu Buhari. The Presidential and National Assembly elections now holds on the 25th of February 2023, while governorship and state Houses of Assembly ballot takes place on the 11th of March, 2021.
