To commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Federal Government has declared Monday, July 11th, and Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, as public holidays.

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Interior, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulates all Muslims and Nigerians, both at home and abroad, on this occasion.

“I call on Muslims to continue to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness, and sacrifice exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him),” Aregbesola added.

The Minister assured that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is “committed to the security of all Nigerians’ lives and properties, empowering citizens for successful living, the provision of social investment programs, and adequate security in schools.”
