Tiwa Savage, the award-winning Nigerian Afrobeat star, has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree by her alma mater, the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.
In a post that included a photo from the event, the school said, “Congratulations Dr #tiwasavage!!
We’re super proud to have awarded the Queen of Afrobeats an honorary doctorate at Canterbury Cathedral this morning.”
