The National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) Renewal Group has urged opposition parties to accept the victory of Senator Bola Tinubu as president-elect and move on for the betterment of Nigeria.
The group hailed Tinubu’s emergence as the best thing to happen to Nigeria in recent times, describing him as a strategic and patriotic leader with an impressive track record.
The group’s National Leader, Prof. Atilade Adeeyo, advised Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who are challenging Tinubu’s victory at the tribunal, to accept defeat honorably.
Adeeyo said that the efforts to upturn Tinubu’s victory would not yield any positive result and urged Nigerians to allow peace to reign so that the country could enjoy the renewed hope promised by the president-elect.
