Abuja – The legal team of the Labour Party is currently holding a meeting with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the commission’s national headquarters in Abuja.
The purpose of the meeting is to inspect electoral materials used for the February 25 presidential election.
Led by Dr Livy Uzoukwu, the head of the legal team, the meeting has seen 60 lawyers in attendance.
The team is expected to brief journalists on the outcome of the meeting after it concludes.
The meeting marks an important step for the Labour Party as it seeks to gather evidence in its bid to challenge the outcome of the election.
