Former President Donald Trump is set to depart his Florida residence and embark on a five-hour journey to New York City ahead of his court appearance in connection with unspecified charges related to a payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.
The trip will begin with Trump leaving Mar-a-Lago in front of supporters before heading to Palm Beach International Airport, where he will likely travel by car as part of a motorcade accompanied by dozens of Secret Service agents.
Trump will then fly on his private plane, dubbed “Trump Force One,” to New York’s LaGuardia Airport before traveling by car to Trump Tower in Manhattan.
The final leg of his journey will be a major security operation involving large numbers of police and Secret Service agents as he travels to the Manhattan criminal courts building for his court appearance.
