The management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) has refuted claims circulating on social media about an increase in tuition fees.

In an official statement released on Wednesday in Benin, the acting Registrar, Mr Ambrose Odiase, and the Public Relations Officer, Mr Lawrence Isiraojie, dismissed the rumors as baseless.

The university authorities expressed concern over the misinformation being spread by mischievous individuals, who have been circulating inconsistent figures as the official school fees for the upcoming academic session.

They clarified that there will be no tuition fee hike for returning students in the 2022/2023 session at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. The fees will remain the same as in the previous academic year.

The statement emphasized that admission to Ambrose Alli University is only granted after the matriculation process.

Therefore, prospective students should be aware that admission offers will expire two weeks from the publication of the admission list.

The payment of the acceptance fee will determine which candidates will be registered for matriculation.

The university also stressed that it will not exceed its admission quota.

To obtain accurate information about the fees charged at Ambrose Alli University, the management urged individuals to visit the institution’s official website.
