The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) led by Joe Ajaero is currently in a meeting with officials of the new administration at the prestigious Presidential Villa.

The gathering, taking place in the office of the Chief of Staff, is witnessing the presence of notable individuals including Kachallon Daju, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Mele Kyari, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), and Adams Oshiomhole, former Edo State governor.

The meeting is a response to President Tinubu’s recent declaration that petroleum subsidy is no longer in effect.

This announcement has subsequently led to a surge in the price of petroleum products, impacting consumers nationwide.
