President Bola Tinubu, who recently assumed office, convened a significant gathering with top security officials at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting, led by Chief of Defense Staff General Lucky Irabor, aimed to address pressing national security concerns.

Present at the high-level discussion were Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya, Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Isiaka Amao, Inspector-General of Police Usman Alkali Baba, Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS) Yusuf Bichi, and Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.

This gathering marked President Tinubu’s inaugural official engagement with the heads of the country’s security and intelligence agencies since assuming office.

Notably, earlier in the week, the President met with Abdulrasheed Bawa, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), at the Villa.
