The North East Business Forum has purchased the 2023 Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku is contesting for the office of president under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former Vice-President was the flagbearer of the PDP in 2019 but lost to current president, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The group, whiles presenting the forms to Atiku at his Asokoro residence in Abuja on Thursday, said it is in fulfilment of their December 2021 promise to purchase the forms for the former vice president as an expression of their support for his presidential bid.
Atiku while receiving the forms, expressed appreciation to the group for the kind gesture.
Meanwhile, the PDP has fixed May 28, 2022, for the presidential primaries governorship primaries will take place on May 21.
Aspirants interested in contesting the presidential election will get the nomination form for N35 million while the expression of interest form goes for N5 million.
