In a recent address marking the celebration of Eid El Kabir, Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, expressed the unwavering loyalty of the Armed Forces to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
He commended the troops for their selfless sacrifice, commitment, and determination in safeguarding the nation’s unity, security, stability, and peace.
The Chief of Defence Staff assured the officers and soldiers of his steadfast support as they carry out their constitutional duties across the country.
He also extended his warm wishes to the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) and their families on the occasion of Sallah, emphasizing the values of faith and sacrifice exemplified by the festival, which align with the sacrifices made by brave soldiers to protect the peace, unity, and sovereignty of the nation.
General Musa expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support to the military and his dedication to revitalizing the economy and implementing reforms in the security sector.
He also extended his felicitations to all Nigerians on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, acknowledging the support of the citizens for the Armed Forces.
Furthermore, the Chief of Defence Staff urged Nigerians to continue placing their trust and confidence in the capability and determination of the troops to effectively combat threats to the nation’s security and stability.
He emphasized that the security and stability of Nigeria are the collective responsibility of all citizens, highlighting the significance of unity in ensuring a safe and prosperous nation.
