Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has sacked the Commissioner for Special Duties, Bassey Okon.
This was disclosed in a statement released in Uyo by the Secretary to the State Government, Enobong Uwah, who did not give reasons for the commissioner’s sack.
Uwah, however, directed Okon to hand over all state government property in his possession to the permanent secretary.
He also thanked the former commissioner for the period he served the state, and wished him well in his future endeavours
