In a shocking turn of events, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has removed Eze Sergeant Awuse from his position as chairman of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers, citing his alleged role in the state’s political crisis. Awuse, accused of playing both sides and lacking stability, has been replaced by Eze Chike Worlu Wodo, a respected Paramount Ruler.

Fubara’s move comes despite a law passed by the State House of Assembly, led by Martin Amaewhule, aimed at preventing the governor from interfering with the council’s leadership. The political crisis in the state has near reached a boiling point, with former governor Nyesom Wike at odds with Fubara.

The people of Rivers State are on edge, wondering what this move will mean for the future of their beloved state. Whether this appointment bring peace and stability, or will it spark further chaos?
