President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Abuja on Sunday evening after a two-week medical trip to London, United Kingdom.

Mallam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, tweeted his arrival at 7:22 p.m.

He tweeted “President Muhammadu Buhari just landed in Abuja. Alhamdu Lillahi,”

Remember that he left Abuja on Sunday, October 31, for a routine medical checkup after attending a security council meeting as well as a Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers in Owerri, Imo State.

Femi Adeshina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, tweeted that Buhari would return to the country in the “second week of November.”

During his visit, he had his first meeting with King Charles III since his accession.

Buhari stated that during the meeting, he discussed issues concerning the King’s interests in Nigeria with King Charles.
