Governor Nwifuru, while commemorating Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebration, assured that under his watch, Ebonyi State will respect the rule of law, freedom of speech and virile opposition, which he said, are beauties of democracy.
The governor further assured the people of continued consolidation as Nigeria’s democratic governance advances.
He also commended the contributions of citizens of the state who have worked to build a more just and equitable society, promising that their sacrifices in enthroning democratic governance will not be forgotten.
Governor Nwifuru restated his administration’s commitment to working assiduously to build a democracy that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.
