The crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) took a turn for the worst following the resignation of Senator John James Akpanudoedehe as National Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

Nigeria News House (NNH) gathered that Akpanudoedehe has packed out all his personal belongings from the party’s national secretariat located at Wuse 2, Abuja.

His resignation comes barely 24 hours after the removal of Yobe Governor, Mai Mala Buni as chairman of the committee and the emergence of Niger state governor, Musa Sani Bello as acting chairman.

Buni who is currently in Dubai for medication was reportedly removed after President Muhammadu Buhari got wind of his plot to scuttle the March 26 National convention and remain as party chairman.
