FC Barcelona has reached an agreement to sign Franck Kessie from AC Milan.
Nigeria News House (NNH) gathered that a deal was struck with the Ivory Coast international on Monday.
The midfielder is expected to officially switch allegiances once his contract ends with the Italian giants on June 30.
Kessie will become Barca’s second transfer for the upcoming 2022/2023 season after they allegedly secured Chelsea centre back Andreas Christensen.
As with the Dane, the Blaugrana will have pulled off a masterstroke by landing €48mn-rated ($53mn) Kessie free of charge.
The 25-year-old’s arrival will help further strengthen the midfield area fro the Catalan side where the likes of Sergio Busquets, Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong and Nico Gonzalez are already established stars.
