President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given the green light to a fresh lineup for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), including key figures such as Mr. Chiedu Ebie, who will head as Chairman representing Delta, and Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, appointed as the Managing Director/CEO from Bayelsa. Other integral team members encompass Mr. Boma Iyaye, the Executive Director responsible for Finance and Administration from Rivers, and Mr. Victor Antai, who will lead projects as the Executive Director from Akwa-Ibom.
Also joining this lineup are Ifedayo Abegunde, serving as Executive Director for Corporate Services from Ondo, Sen. Dimaro Denyanbofa as State Representative from Bayelsa, and Mr. Abasi Ndikan Nkono as State Representative from Akwa Ibom.
Moreover, the team will feature Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya from Delta, Chief Tony Okocha from Rivers, Hon Patrick Aisowieren from Edo, Mr. Kyrian Uchegbu from Imo, Victor Kolade Akinjo from Ondo, Chief Dimgba Eruba from Abia, and Mr. Asu Oku Okang from Cross River as State Representatives.
Adding to the roster are Hon. Nick Wende as Zonal Representative from North Central, Hon. Namdas Abdulrazak as Zonal Representative from North East, and Sen. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir as Zonal Representative from North West.
The President’s vision is for this newly minted Board and Management team to usher in a new era of successful administration within the NDDC, aligning with his Renewed Hope agenda. Notably, all these appointments are effective immediately.
