On Friday, the Supreme Court partially resolved the ownership dispute over 17 oil wells in the Rivers State government’s favor.

The Supreme court invalidated the Imo State government’s counter claim ownership in a decision written by Justice Ellen Ogunwumiju but delivered by Justice Emmanuel Agim.

The court awarded the Rivers State government reliefs one, three, four, five, and six, according to Justice Agim.

The court, on the other hand, denied reliefs two, seven, and ten.
