Biden acknowledged his weak performance at the Presidential debate while giving a speech in North Carolina on Friday, saying, he is not a young man, adding that despite his shortcomings, he knows how to tell the truth, knows right from wrong and knows how to do this job.
Biden’s campaign team has remained emphatic that the country’s oldest presidential candidate is still fit to serve another term.
Campaign officials said he would not step aside for another nominee, despite the poor performance.
