President Bola Tinubu is restating his commitment to prioritising the well-being of Nigerians by providing essential infrastructure and amenities to improve the quality of life of citizens.
A statement by the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, said President Tinubu gave the assurance at the inauguration of some infrastructure in Guzape District Lot 2 in Abuja.
The President, who commended the contractor handling the project, emphasised that his commitment to providing infrastructure across the country was not for personal enrichment or aggrandisement.
In his remarks, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, said the development of the district, which covered 32kilometres of road, had been filled with litigations, which, however, did not hinder the progress of the project.
The Minister, appealed to the President to name major roads in the Guzape District after literary giants, Chinua Achebe and JP Clark.
