The Southwest governors forum have stressed the need for the negotiations between the federal government and organised labour to reflect fiscal federalism.
The governors announced this at the end of their meeting held in Lagos State.
A statement read on their behalf by the chairman of the forum and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said they were endorsing their support for whatever would be the outcome of the negotiation on the minimum wage.
The meeting was attended by the Governors of Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, and Ekiti States.
