The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) failed to bring the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to court on Monday. This comes despite a specific order issued by the Federal Capital Territory High Court just last Thursday, mandating the commission to either release Emefiele or present him in court for a hearing related to his bail.
During the court proceedings held on Monday, the former CBN governor was notably absent.
