The Ezinano community in Awka, Anambra State, has condemned a recent massacre in neighboring Nibo, where 16 lives were lost during a traditional festival. In response, Ezinano leaders have announced a N10 million reward for information leading to the capture of those responsible.

Chief Jeff Nweke, leader of the Ezinano community, revealed the bounty during Ezinano Day, a celebration of the community’s culture. Expressing solidarity with Nibo, which shares a close affinity with Ezinano, Nweke pledged action against cultism, vowing to protect the community from future violence.

“We will not rest until justice is served. Ezinano community will not tolerate violence or cultism,” he stated, urging anyone with information to come forward to aid the investigation.
