The Nigerian Army has begun sensitising young people in Abia State on the ongoing recruitment exercise for its 90 Regular Recruit Intake (90 RRI).

In a statement on Sunday, Lt. Anna Tsaku, Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 14 Brigade, Ohafia, confirmed that the online application portal opened on 19 September.

She described the programme as a chance for young Nigerians to serve the country “with pride, courage and honour”, while building careers within the military.

“Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive military training and gain access to diverse career paths,” the statement read.

The Army urged eligible youths to apply via the official portal — www.recruitment.army.mil.ng — and to strictly follow the guidelines provided.

Officials also stressed that the process is entirely free, warning applicants to beware of fraudsters seeking to exploit the exercise.

The Nigerian Army said it remains committed to recruiting disciplined and dedicated individuals ready to defend the country’s territorial integrity and strengthen national security.
