Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike claimed on Saturday that if he is elected president of the country in 2023, he will put an end to banditry in six months.
Wike announced this during a meeting with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates in Abeokuta, Ogun State, according to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Kelvin Ebiri.
He stated that security officers would be given the required tools to beef up security in the country.
The governor emphasized that he is still loyal to the PDP’s beliefs and will never abandon the party under any circumstances.
