After traditional rituals were performed by the people of Owo in Ondo State, over 50 people were confirmed dead at the St Francis Catholic Church Cathedral on the First Sunday of June 2022, following a bloodthirsty ISWAP terrorist attack.
According to a reliable source known only as Dayo, “some military men entered the bush yesterday around 3.00pm and returned on Thursday evening” with three people suspected of carrying out the attacks on the church on Sunday morning.
He stated that the suspects were taken to the ‘Kabiyesi’ Palace, where thousands of people gathered to demand that they not be taken to Akure.
He went on to say that he has no idea where the suspected criminals are or whether they have been transferred to Akure.
