The Oyo State Executive Council (ExCo) has named HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, the Paramount Ruler of Emuoha Kingdom, as the new Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho.
According to the State Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, the decision was made during the State ExCo meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
As an experienced administrator, community leader, and respected traditional ruler, the first-class monarch is expected to bring his wealth of knowledge to LAUTECH.
The appointment is effective immediately.
