Tobi Amusan of Nigeria won gold in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2022 Commonwealth games in Birmingham.
This comes just days after she won gold and set a new world record at the world athletics championships in the United States.
On Sunday morning at the alexander stadium, she breaks the games record with a time of 12.30 seconds.
After successfully defending her Commonwealth games title in Gold Coast, Australia, Amusan becomes the first world champion to win a gold medal in the event and the first Nigerian athlete to be crowned champion at all levels of athletics in the same year.
She is now Africa, World, and Commonwealth games champion.
