Dr Cairo Ojougboh, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta state, has called upon Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, to utilize his extensive experience in ensuring the timely delivery of the president’s campaign pledges to the Nigerian people.
In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, Ojougboh conveyed his congratulations to Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, on his appointment as Chief of Staff. Ojougboh, a former lawmaker representing Ika Federal Constituency, affirmed that Gbajabiamila was the ideal candidate for the role, citing his impressive track record.
Reflecting on their shared beginnings as young representatives in 2003, Ojougboh praised Gbajabiamila’s unwavering dedication and loyalty to Tinubu throughout the years.
He expressed confidence in Gbajabiamila’s ability to support Tinubu in fulfilling his promises to the Nigerian people.
Ojougboh assured Gbajabiamila of his support while reminding him of the high expectations held by the citizens, emphasizing that his current position was a trust bestowed upon him.
He concluded by expressing his belief that Gbajabiamila would not let Nigerians down.
Having previously served as the National Vice-Chairman, South-South, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before joining the APC in 2019, Ojougboh’s endorsement adds weight to Gbajabiamila’s appointment.
