Officers from the Nigerian Army’s 6 Brigade, based in Jalingo, Taraba State, have sealed the road leading to their barracks after an explosion near their camp Tuesday night.

Pedestrians, on the other hand, were observed to be allowed to pass.

It was discovered that the explosive device detonated near their barracks’ fence.

Following the loud bang heard around 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday, residents of the state capital were concerned about the explosion.

However, it was discovered that no one was injured. The incident was also confirmed by the state police command.

This is the third explosion in Taraba in the last three weeks.
