Silas Onu Esq, the Controversial Factional Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State, has been removed by the Court of Appeal Abuja Division.

In a motion on Notice for Stay of Execution filed by the PDP Ebonyi State Chapter, the Justices of the Court of Appeal chastised Mr Onu for being desperate and disrespecting the Court by assuming the Chairmanship position of the Ebonyi PDP despite the pending motion.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Ebonyi State had filed an appeal against the decision of the Federal High Court in Abuja to remove Mr Tochukwu Okorie as Party Chairman and direct the PDP to swear in Mr Onu.

Nonetheless, Mr Onu assumed the position of PDP Ebonyi State Chairman despite the pending appeal and an accompanying motion for stay of execution. While granting the motion for stay of execution in Motion number 44, the Court of Appeal chastised Mr Onu for disrespecting the court with his desperate actions.
