After a long hiatus, top actor Emeka Ike has made a significant return to acting, sharing the progress he made during his time away. In a chat with NollyNow, Ike revealed that his absence allowed him to establish new ventures and expand his brand.
“My time away was beneficial. I created more brands apart from just Emeka Ike. I now own Nollywood TV on Startimes and I’m building other in-demand brands,” Ike said. He also mentioned that the break gave him the chance to explore a career in politics.
Known for his roles in films like “Deadly Affair,” “Not Man Enough,” “Passion, Pain and Foreign Affair,” and “Wayward Child,” Ike is excited to reconnect with his audience. “We’re breaking the ice again. I want to keep entertaining my fans and deliver what they expect from me,” he added.
Ike’s return to the screen comes years after he stepped back following the end of his marriage to Suzanne, a half-Dutch, half-Nigerian woman. The couple, who married in 2000 and have four children, separated in 2015.
