Human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN, has issued a plea to the Nigerian government, urging an end to the rampant killings in Plateau State.

Expressing deep sorrow over the ongoing violence, Falana highlighted incidents over the past 20 months and criticized the lack of prosecution for identified culprits.

Notable cases include the recent attack in Du community and the devastating events on December 24, 2023, where bandits killed 145 citizens.

Falana emphasized the need for a thorough federal investigation to bring perpetrators to justice and proposed the establishment of ranches to address conflicts between farmers and herders.
