Former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Kalu, has declared the demise of his beloved wife, Mrs Ifeoma Kalu, at the age of 61.
In a statement released on his official social media account, signed by the former governor and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Kalu described his late wife as a woman of great virtue who was dedicated to serving God and humanity.
Senator Kalu expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the loss of his wife, saying, “With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to the eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61.”
The statement further disclosed that a memorial service would be held in honor of the late Mrs Ifeoma in the United States of America.
Senator Kalu implored the public to remember the deceased and her family in their prayers during this trying moment.
