Former APC presidential aspirant Chief Charles Udeogaranya has voiced strong criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s recent ministerial reshuffle, labeling the changes as ineffective for addressing Nigeria’s pressing economic challenges. Udeogaranya argued that the reshuffle misses the mark, failing to tackle the economic issues Nigerians face daily.

Highlighting global economic uncertainties, he pointed to the upcoming U.S. presidential election and potential EU policy shifts in response to a possible Trump presidency, which could introduce tariffs and trade restrictions that impact the global economy. Udeogaranya cautioned that Nigeria’s economic team seems unprepared for such shifts, lacking a strategic and proactive approach.

He urged President Tinubu to restructure the economic team with capable leaders focused on tangible improvements, saying, “Without strong, visionary leadership in economic policy, Nigeria’s path to economic recovery remains uncertain.”
