President of the United States Joe Biden was a bit humiliated this week, and it had nothing to do with politics. Instead, he crashed his bicycle.
Biden, 79, is in Rehoboth Beach for the weekend with his wife, Jill Biden, and took advantage of the nice weather by going for a ride with her and other secret service members.
When he stopped to greet some neighbors, he had an accident because he couldn’t get his foot off the pedals cleanly. As a result, he was unable to support himself and fell to the ground, with no repercussions from the accident.
“I’m fine,” Biden replied quickly.
“As the president said, his foot got caught in the pedal when he dismounted and he’s fine,” U.S. government sources said later.
“He does not need medical attention. The president expects to spend the rest of the day with his family”.
